SOLUDO COMMISERATES WITH THE FAMILY OF LATE MRS IFEOMA ASHA-NNABUIFE.

The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo payed his last respect to the Family of the Wife of his Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Chief Barr. Raphael Asha-Nnabuife.



   The Governor who was ably represented by his Deputy, Dr OnyekaChukwu Ibezim attended the Funeral mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Nkpor-Uno. 

   A heart melting rendition was delivered by the Archbishop Valerian Okeke music academy in honour of the deceased. The Homily was by the Auxiliary Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most. Rev. Ernest Obodo.


    In his Speech, the Governor expressed sadness and pain at the news of Mrs. Ifeoma Asha- Nnabuife's death. Governor Soludo noted that Death is inevitable, inescapable and an unavoidable journey. 

     On behalf of Anambra State Government and the entire people of the State. He offered His deepest condolences to Nnabuife family and also the good people of Nkpor-Uno community over the painful loss.
 
     While commiserating with the Nnabuife Family, He noted that the burial law of the State is mainly to honour and celebrate people who are dead. He added that "it is important that we give the Living a Befitting Living and Give the Dead a Decent Burial". As against giving a poor living and befitting burial which has become the order of the day. 

   Dr. Ibezim further prayed that the Good Lord grant her soul eternal rest and the family She left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. 

   Also Present at the Funeral Mass and Burial Ceremony alongside the Deputy Governor were; the APGA National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa; Secretary to the State Government,Prof. Solo Chukwulobe; Anambra State APGA Chairman,Chief Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye; Commissioner for petroleum and Mineral resources, Mr. Anthony Ifeanya, House of Assembly Member representing Idemili South, Barr. Ebuka Igwe, TC Chairman of Ogbaru LGA amongst others.
