ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT To GAZETTE AND INSTALL PERMANENT MONUMENT'S TO END ENUGWU-AGIDI AND UKWULU BOUNDARY DISPUTES.

  Earlier on Thursday December 7th, 2023 , Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr OnyekaChukwu Ibezim has commended Ukwulu and Enugwu-Agidi Communities for demonstrating tolerance and understanding in managing their inter-communal Boundaries.

Dr. Ibezim gave the commendation when both communities, respectively of Dunukofia and Njikoka Council Area approached the state Boundary Committee to gazette and establish permanent monuments on established boundaries by their ancestors.

Dr. Peter Uchenna Okoye, the Secretary General Ukwulu Town Union and Hon. Ndubisi Obijiofor , a former President General of Enugwu-Agidi made presentations on behalf of their respective Communities.

In his remarks, Dr. Ibezim commended Ndi Ukwulu and Enugwu-Agidi Communities for resilience in fostering cordial relationship among themselves, evidenced in coming together without rancor to establish permanent boundary.

He revealed that Governor Soludo wants structured and organised development as spearheaded by several estate developers across the state, and mandated the State Boundary Committee to sort out all lingering boundary headaches so that no developmental project will be truncated.

He assured that the State boundary committee will study their presentations and articulate them for an unbiased actions that will bring lasting peace to be birthed.

SOLUDO HONOURED AS CHAMPIONS NEWSPAPER GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR ON INFRASTRUCTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT.
