ANAMBRA STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR, DR. ONYEKACHUKWU IBEZIM APPOINTED THE NEW PRESIDENT, ANAMBRA STATE SCOUT COUNCIL OF NIGERIA.

Anambra State Deputy Governor Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim was on Wednesday November 22nd, 2023 appointed the new president Anambra State Scout Council, making him the first Deputy Governor in the state to get the appointment in line with the constitution of the scout council.

Mr. Deputy Governor's investiture ceremony which held at Deputy Governor's conference room Anambra State government house Awka, was witnessed by high ranking Officers of Soludo's government, including state's P.R.O of Police, Mr. Ikenga Tochukwu.

Speaking during the investiture, Dr. Ibezim described his appointment as home coming explaining that he has been a member of Boy's scout since his childhood days.

He went down memory lane, pointing out numerous relevance he finds in all the scout stands for, adding that scouting has been an opportunity to impact young ones for a greater future while ensuring a better Nigeria.

He assured that under his leadership as president, Anambra State branch will be revamped to be a citadel of scouting, scouting for solution for a better Anambra State.

Dr. Ibezim reiterated Soludo's government eagerness to work in synergy with the Scout Council to ensure the council moves higher, calling for sustained cooperation of all principal officers as well as guidance from other relevant executives in pushing the council forward.

Mr. Deputy Governor vowed to use his position to further the cause of the Scout Association, impact younger generation through mentoring and offer positive service that will impact lives and create a better society.

SOLUDO HONOURED AS CHAMPIONS NEWSPAPER GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR ON INFRASTRUCTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT.
