ANAMBRA STATE is 32!!!

Anambra state, the light of the Nation is 32 today Sunday 26th August, 2023 since it's creation from old Enugu state, and incidentally, our Administration clocked one year and 5 months in office as the sixth Democratically elected Government of the state.


Strategically, this administration has been crowned with many completed and ongoing developmental projects which is congruent with our campaign promises of making the Homeland Safe, green, smart and liveable.


From Ayamelum in the East to Ogbaru in North, Aguata in the west, Amansea in South, our beloved Homeland is reputed for her rich cultural heritages; the New Yam Festival of Isuofia, Ovalla Festival in Onitsha, the popular Nwafor Ogidi Cultural Festival, Igu Aro festival of Enugwu Ukwu na Umu Nri, Imoka Festival of Awka Kingdom,  Afiaolu Festival of Nnewi etc.


Over the years, the sons and daughters of Anambra state have had their several reputations revolving round Intelligence, hardwork and resilience which in turn spurred the economic growth of the state, region and the nation at large. And still Anambra people are doing more.


When you look for what makes us unique as a people, it is the Anambra spirit in us, previously manifested by the likes of Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Alex Ekwueme, Professor Chinua Achebe, Prof. Dora Akunyili, Nwafor Orizu,  Chimamanda Adichie, Chike Obi.


As we cerebrate the birth of our beloved state; A state where past meets the future, A land of promise and progress, A place where tradition and Innovation thrive, be rest assured that the government of Prof. Charlse Chukwuma Soludo is still roundly committed to the business of transforming Anambra State from a departure lounge to an investment destination.

SOLUDO HONOURED AS CHAMPIONS NEWSPAPER GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR ON INFRASTRUCTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT.

E.
