THE NEW CARETAKER COMMITTEE FOR MBAUKWU TOWN UNION (WOMEN WING) PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO ANAMBRA STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR.

The Newly Constituted Town Union Women Wing Caretaker committee which is headed by CJNebechukwu Stella Obiageli,Esq.,was accompanied by the immediate past Woman Leader Mrs. Amalachukwu Okafor to see Mr. Deputy Governor as Courtesy demands.


The  familiarisation and solidarity visit  took place at the Deputy Governor's office on Thursday 27th July, 2023, the same day they represented Mbaukwu Women at "2023 Mothers Summit " organised by First Lady Mrs Nonye Soludo at the Women Development Centre, Awka. 


The Caretaker Women Leader who doubles as the Chairman of Anambra State Magistrate Court Presidents, briefed the Deputy Governor on the illegalities surrounding the purported election that never held, hence the emergence of the caretaker committee. 


The immediate past Women Leader narrated how she warned Mbaukwu Women against Government's directive on the supposed election, which they later defied .

The committee also drew his  attention to the stage-managed protest on 24th July, 2023 by few women from Akabor village, Ogba village, and other hired machineries with intention to cause anarchy. 

Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim expressed confidence caretaker committee considering the calibre and competence of its members, drawn from the 5 villages in Mbaukwu. He futher charged them to be both large-hearted and pragmatic in ensuring peace, stability, and generally acceptable election within the stipulated time frame of their government. 

Dr. Ibezim commended the immediate past Women Leader for standing on the path of truth, peace, and justice.  In his final note, Mr Deputy Governor insisted that overall interest of Mbaukwu supercedes that of few CABALS that have held the community down for decades.

SOLUDO HONOURED AS CHAMPIONS NEWSPAPER GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR ON INFRASTRUCTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT.
