IBEZIM FRATERNIZES WITH HIS PEOPLE, URGES THEM TO BE DEDICATED TO GOD.

​Mr. Deputy Governor on stepping out from Church service at St Lawrence Ang. Church, Mbaukwu, met a group of young people in front of Mbaukwu Civic Centre , and inquired why they weren't in their various churches. Out of enthusiasm to get these promising youths of Mbaukwu to attend church service,  he bought some items being sold at that particular junction to be distributed to all present. He urged them all to head to church for the salvation of their souls is more important than the pursuit of earthly riches.


While addressing the group,  the Fmr, PG of Mbaukwu Town Union Chief Godwin Onyiluka), a member of Igwe in Council Chief Johnson Ibezim stepped forward to join voices with him. They appreciated Dr. Ibezim's commitment to sanitising Mbaukwu from all forms of idolatry. The young people being addressed unanimously agreed to go their various homes and heed His Excellency's urging to attend church service.

Both communities through their spokespersons during the meeting, affirmed that there is no rancor or misunderstanding of any sort between them, adding that they understand themselves and also inter-marry a lot.
