DR IBEZIM INSPECTS THE ONGOING REMODELING/ RECONSTRUCTION OF THE MBAUKWU GENERAL HOSPITAL.

Buoyed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo's commitment

to raising healthcare standards in the state, Dr

Onyekachukwu Ibezim, the Deputy Governor was at to

Mbaukwu to ascertain the progress that has been

made with regards to Remodeling the Mbaukwu

General Hospital.


During the inspection, the community leaders present

commended the current administration for providing

the hospital with state of the art streets lights. The

Commissioner for Health, Dr Afam Obidike, while

enumerating the resources provided, noted that

experienced consultant doctors as well as nurses have

been sent to the hospital.


Dr Ibezim, while addressing members of staff,

assured them that the government will liaise with the

Ministry of Power to provide solar panels for 24/7

electricity. He also urged them to convince Mbaukwu

people to come make use of the facilities provided.

Citing the recent spike in the number of diabetic

patients in the state as a symptom, he urged that

routine check-ups at health centers will help obliterate

this. To this, the people replied in the affirmative and

expressed their gratitude at the government's support.

stakeholders: The President General - Rev. Can. Josiah

Ozue SA to Governor- Hon. Chisom Echele, Mbaukwu

APGA Ward Chairman - Shedrach Ezeilo, APGA

Secretary - Mr. Anoka, Mbaukwu Vigilante Chairman

Mr Emeka Ajaka, Engr. Godwin Eze, The matron, nurse

and one doctor were also present during the visit.
