SOLUDO FLAGS OFF THE "ALL ANAMBRA COMMUNITY PLASTIC RECOVERY CHALLENGE " IN AWKA.

​

 The Deputy Governor of Anambra state,Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim on the mandate of Prof Charles Soludo was at X-FIT, Awka for the official launch of "All Anambra Community Plastic Recovery CHALLENGE ".

The event which is centered on Enviromental sustainability was hosted by the Commisoner for Environment, Hon. Felix Odumegwu.


The programme is a grassroot challenge that is expected to run across the 179 communities and The ASATU President General Barr. Titus Akpudo was present on behalf of all the PG's of all various communities in Anambra State.

 Over 500 volunteers, OCHA BRIDGE, and other paramilitary officers are also present to give weight to the event.

By Udoka Nwokoye Hoffmann- Deputy Governor's Conference Room, Government House Awka. __________________________________________    People of Enugwu-Agidi in Njikoka Council Area and Ukpo Community in Oyi Council Area of Anambra State have took preventively futuristic moves aimed at securing everlasting boundary peace, asking the state government to place permanent monuments at the agreed boundaries between Enugwu-Agidi and Ukpo communities. Both communities through their spokespersons during the meeting, affirmed that there is no rancor or misunderstanding of any sort between them, adding that they understand themselves and also inter-marry a lot.
